    How are groups chosen to be included in CultureVision®?

    CultureVision®’s expansion often comes as a result of the changing nature of the U.S. population, the availability of culture-specific studies, and also at times as a direct result of specific requests made by clients in reaction to their patient base. Given the vast array of cultures across the globe, and the changing nature of the world, we constantly strive to regularly add and update CultureVision® content.

    CultureVision® is developed and maintained by a team of dedicated intercultural experts with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in cultural competence, equity, and inclusion. Their combined expertise ensures that the resource remains a trusted and comprehensive tool for understanding and navigating cultural nuances.     What technology is required to view CultureVision®?

    In general, CultureVision® is optimally viewed using one of these internet browsers: Internet Explorer 7 or 8, or the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. There are also several streaming videos available on the site that are hosted by youtube.com. If you have any trouble viewing these, please speak with your organization’s IT department about how to gain access to them.

    What are some examples of creative/engaging ways organizations have introduced or can introduce CultureVision® to their team?
  • Host a virtual cultural fair and leverage CultureVision®’s Culture Quest feature to engage learners. Present low-cost prizes (i.e., gift cards) to team members for completing the “quest”.
     

  • Leverage quizzes using a survey and track a leaderboard. Simple surveys can include true or false statements or multiple-choice questions based on research shared in CultureVision®. Other creative ideas is to use fill-in-the-blanks to complete a crossword puzzle. Organizations can leverage the glossary for that as well.
     

  • Host a weekly challenge by posting a question on Monday, such as "What is the name of the concept in Judaism related to the obligation to preserve a life and may be linked to medical treatment?" Folks can submit responses within a specified duration (i.e, by the end of the week), and the answer is then revealed the following Monday (answer: Pikuach Nefesh).

    Yes, we provide a variety of online training resources, including user guides, video tutorials, and live webinars. These resources are designed to help new users get the most out of CultureVision and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Tiered pricing (ranging from $2,500 to $30,000 annually) is based on the subscribing organization’s size and the level of access required.
